What to expect during your chiropractic appointment

Chiropractic adjustment
This adjustment refers to a quiet, short thrust into the area of reduced mobility in the spine of the extremities (knee, elbow, shoulder or hand) for the purpose of inputting information to the nervous system and consequently restoring function and flexibility.

During this adjustment there may be an audible sound but this is only due to correction of the pressure within the joint by gas escaping.

The aim is to achieve negative pressure within the joints adjusted which return function into a smoother friction free movement and therefore reduction in potential “wear & tear” or degradation of the joint.
